Phyllis June Armstrong Vann died Monday April 13, 2020 in Woodburn, Oregon. She was born June 22, 1943 in Guide Rock, Nebraska.

Phyllis moved from Superior, Nebraska to Oregon in 1976 with her daughter Cheri. After working as a seamstress making sports equipment, she retired in 2008. She lived with her daughter and son-in-law for the last nine years of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Vann; her parents Willis and Nora Armstrong; her sister Dorothy Young and her brother Roger Armstrong; her nephew Michael Young.

Survivors include her daughter Cheri Grim of Woodburn, OR; grandson’s Eric Grim of Port Orford, OR and Adam Grim of Canby, OR; sister Sheila Korb of Superior, NE; son-in-law Thomas Jennings Jr of Woodburn, OR; 15 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date when the pandemic crisis allows.
She will be Buried at Guide Rock Cemetery, Guide Rock, Nebraska at a date to be determined.
