Rev. Winfield S. Jewell, 81 years old, a retired minister and civil war veteran, died here at his home Saturday morning at 4:30 o'clock. He is survived by the widow, one daughter Mrs. George Lemmer of Terre Haute, and a half brother. The funeral will be held from the residence Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with burial in Center Ridge cemetery.
