She is survived by her son, Odeno Cheramie Jr., five grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odeno Cheramie Sr.: parents, John and Azelia Cheramie Boudreaux; brothers, Claiborne, Jefferson, Ludovic and John Boudreaux; and sisters, Lozia Saunier, Azelia Domangue and Stella Cuneo.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
