He married Martha Priscilla Victor on January 31, 1856 in Shelby County, Indiana.
Andrew and Martha were living in Blueville, Illinois when he mustered into Company "B" 10th Illinois Cavalry on September 18, 1862. Company records indicate that he died at Little Rock, Arkansas on November 19, 1863. This was two months after the Union Army campaign to capture Little Rock (August 1-September 11, 1863). Cause of death not given.
Died of chronic diarrhea. Burial number 198 in the Little Rock National Cemetery Grave Site 198. "Removed by friends". There was a FAG site created at the Little Rock National Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas. However, records list Grave site 199. FAG site list Grave site 198,which I believe is incorrect. See: FAG # 117707263. I will email you record if you have an email listed. If not, I will add as a photo in Mock Cemetery Record....Pat
