Mrs. Cyrus Butt
Mrs. Cyrus Hugh Butt, 1212 Lyncrest Avenue died Saturday afternoon, September, September 7, at her home in Jackson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 10 at Wright and Ferguson Chapel. Burial was in Vaiden Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Survivors include one son, Capt. C. H. Butt, USN Retired, McLean, VA; one daughter, Mrs. Mrs. John E. Aldridge, Jackson; one brother, Rufus B. Smith and two sisters, Miss Ruth Smith and Miss Rivers Smith, all of Vaiden; eight grandchildren, Dr. John E. Aldridge, Franklin B. Aldridge and Ronny Aldridge, all of Jackson; two US Navy officers, C. H. Butt IV and Duncan Butt, Robert Butt of the U.S. Naval Academy and David and Jonathan Butt, McLean, VA.; and one great-grandson, John Thomas Aldridge, Jackson.
Mrs. Butt was a longtime resident of Winona until she moved to Jackson several years ago.
