THE PARIS NEWS, 22 Feb 1957: 'Mrs. R. M. Robinson, 92, resident of Biardstown community 70 years, died in a Kaufman hospital early Friday. The funeral, Saturday at 10 a.m., will be held in Cooper at Delta Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Prince of First Baptist Church, Paris, and interment will be made here in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson was the mother of Mrs. O. Y. Janes, Cooper; Mrs. J. R. McLemore and Dr. O. W. Robinson, Paris; Mrs. W. E. Martin, Dallas, and Robert Robinson, Austin; other survivors being 10 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren, and these sisters and brothers: Mrs. A. T. B. Beauchamp, Mrs. Oscar Scudder and Austin Womack, Blossom; Mark Womack, Dallas; Mrs. Edgar Huff, Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Mattie Clarkson, Valliant, Okla. The former Miss Ada Womack, daughter of the late W. A. and Sarah Elizabeth Womack, Mrs. Robinson was born in Mississippi, 18 Dec 1865. She was reared at Blossom, attending Sam Houston State Teachers College, Huntsville, then called a normal school and taught school a number of years. She had lived at Biardstown since her marriage to Robert M. Robinson, who died about 12 years ago. A sister-in-law, Miss Blanche Robinson, made her home with her there.
