1887 note by William to Heaton Bros Drug Store, Cuero. Note the red ink store letterhead at upper right. "Gentlemen please send us by Express 3 Doz. Screw Worm Oil. Yours Truly, C. Eckhardt & Sons, Wm C. E." (Maybe it isn't a C initial).

Image published in a Cuero, TX newspaper circa 1895 showing Eckhardt partnering with William Westhoff in a Yorktown lumber yard. Westhoff already had them in Meyersville & Cuero. Eventually Bella, TX (Westhoff, TX) gets a lumber yard.
