Fisher Diggs Elliott passed away October 21 at the University Hospital in Jackson. Services were held Sunday, October 22, at 4:00 p.m. from the Shongalo Presbyterian Church in Vaiden with the Rev. T. Q. John officiating. Burial was with Lee Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Elliott was born in Carroll County August 23, 1919 and in 1954 married the former Helen McEachern. He was a member of the Shongalo Presbyterian Church in Vaiden.
Surviving are his wife of Coila, his mother, Mrs. Ellen Fisher Elliott of Winona; two sisters, Mrs. Tommy Herod and Mrs. W. A. Harvey.
Pallbearers were W. B. "Deb" Vance Jr., J. W. Sanders, J. W. "Buddy" Eades, Vernon "Buddy" Welch, George Gailey, J. T. Sudduth, Gladwin Beck and Coleman Palmertree.
