EMMA JANE INSLEY ATWILL
DAUGHTER OF JAMES ATWILL AND MARGARET MONTGOMERY

Mrs. Emma Baker, Pleasant Prairie resident, Dies - Mrs. Emma J. Baker, 60, Pleasant Prairie resident, died at 4:45 p.m. Monday at Bellevue hospital after a month's illness with a complication of ailments.
Born in Wilton, June 22, 1878, she had been a resident of the Pleasant Prairie community for 34 years.

--- She was married to JAMES ROY Baker at Wilton on July 20, 1904.

She was a member of the Sweetland Methodist church, the Ladies Aid society and Unity club of Pleasant Prairie and of the Order of Eastern Star.

--- Her husband's death occurred on Aug. 20, 1938. Surviving are two children, Walter F. Baker of Stockton, and Mrs. Harriet E. Shepard of Wilton;

two sisters, Mrs. PERRY REED Baker of Iowa Falls and Miss Rena Atwill of Wilton,
three brothers, A. T.(ALEX THEO) Atwill and R. W.(RICHARD WILLIAM) Atwill of Chicago and J. S.(JAMES) Atwill of Wilton and

two grandchildren, John Harvey Baker and Sarah Ann Baker.

--- The body is at the Hoffman Funeral home but will be returned to the residence at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pleasant Prairie church with the Rev. C. H. Hiller of the Sweetland Methodist church and the Rev. B F. Pickering of the Pleasant Prairie church in charge.
Burial will be in the Parr cemetery.
