A retired school teacher, Miss Atwill was born June 2, 1880, at Wilton, the daughter of James and Margaret Montgomery Atwill. She was a member of the Wilton Methodist church and Purity Chapter 865 O.E.S.
Survivors include two brothers, Alexander T. of Lodi, Wisc., and Richard W. Atwill of Wilton; and one sister, Mrs. Perry (Margaret) Baker of Iowa Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at the Wilton Methodist church. The body is now at the Griffith funeral home, and will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev. Robert G. Farr will conduct the services. Interment will be at Oakdale cemetery, Wilton.
