CONRAD R. LINK DIES AT HOME
Funeral Rites to Be on Friday Afternoon
Conrad Richard Link, 66, died at his home,
823 E. State, about 7 p.m.Wednesday,
following a lingering illness. He had been
a resident of Mason City and vicinity for
the past 35 years.
Mr. Link was born at Green City, Mo., Jan.1,
1880. He had farmed around Mason City until
he retired. He was married to Miss Zada
Sears, in 1898, who preceded him in death.
He later married Eva Doty, Jan.1, 1945.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs.Eva Link, and
3 sons, Seward, Almon R., and C. Emery Link,
and 2 daughters, Mrs.Mildred VanWey, and
Mrs.Maxine Heggestad, all of Mason City;
Thirteen grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents,
his first wife, and 4 children.
Funeral services will be held Friday at
2 p.m at the Patterson funeral home, with
the Rev. Russell E. Pope and Mrs.C. Merle
Emerton officiating. Burial will be at
Memorial Park cemetery. The Patterson
funeral home is in charge.
