Homer Edward Ellis, 83, of Rushville passed away Tuesday, June 10, at the Culbertson hospital in Rushville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm today (Thursday) at the Free Methodist church in Rushville. Rev. Lindh will officiate and burial will be in Rushville cemetery.
Mr. Ellis was born March 5, 1875 to Robert and Sarah Crain Ellis in Augusta.
Surviving are the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Harriet Beaudoin of Hollywood, Ill., and Mrs. Freda Johnson of Rushville, a son, Homer Ellis, Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif., three sisters, Mrs. Dove Hall, Coalings, Calif., Mrs. Aline [Olivia] Hedrick, Quincy and Mr. Grace Evans of Sedalia, Mo.. Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
A brother, Benjamin F. Ellis, died May 24 in Staunton, Va., funeral rites and burial being held here.
