Mrs. Slutter died Monday, May 24, 2010 at her home. She was born May 24, 1923 at Coalgate, Oklahoma to Earl and Annie Taylor Green. She lived in this area all her life and graduated from Coalgate High School.
She married Joe Slutter on September 3, 1964 at San Jose, California. He preceded her in death on June 25, 1987 at Stonewall. Mrs. Slutter was a homemaker and affiliated with the Assembly of God Church. She served on the Stonewall City Council and volunteered at the Stonewall Senior Citizen Center. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Good, Stonewall, Vera Abrahamson and husband Ron, Granbury, Texas, and Valorie Gern and husband Ed, Ft. Worth, TX; three sons, Billy Good, St. Louis, MO, Michael Good and wife Ronda, Altamont, KS, and Eddie Slutter and wife Nancy, Waterloo, IA; one sister, Janene Tackett and husband Bill, Stonewall; a brother, Paul Green and wife Beverly, Modesto, CA; eleven grandchildren, Rory Good and wife Catherine, Alan Good, Heath Hilderbrand, Adam Gern, Randi Lynn Smith, Haley Hilderbrand, Andrew Gern, Ethan Walston, Taylor Abrahamson, Bryan Slutter and wife Heather, and Jenny Mangel and husband Matt; and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bob Good, a granddaughter, Haley Hilderbrand, one sister, Vera Roberts, and a brother, Kenneth Green.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Rory Good, Alan Good, Heath Hilderbrand, Adam Gern, Andrew Gern, and Ethan Walston.
