OF MARION DIES

Morrow County Native Strick-
en at Daughter's Home.


Mrs. Clara A. Cline, 79, a native of Morrow County and former resident of near Claridon, died at 8:30 a.m. today in the home of a daughter, Mrs. D.J. Baird of 141 North Seffner Avenue. She had been in ill health two years.

She was born Sept. 25, 1862, near Cardington, a daughter of Johnson Maxwell and Nancy Stanton Maxwell, both natives of Morrow County and both deceased. Her husband, Jerome N. Cline, died 11 years ago. She attended Greenwood Evangelical Church.

The family home at one time was on a farm near Claridon, and later on East Walnut Street in Marion.

She is survived by nine children. They are Harry A. of Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. Roscoe R. Ruhlman of Bellefontaine Avenue, Bert C. of Hane Avenue, Mrs. Baird at whose home she died, Ellis I. of the Richland Pike, Mrs. Charles Fisher of near Caledonia, Clarence R. of North Greenwood Street, Ernest L. of Lancaster, Pa., and Mrs. Homer Bodley of Folsby, W.Va. She also leaves one brother, R.C. Maxwell of Cardington, 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the daughter's home at 141 North Seffner Avenue and at 2:30 p.m. in Greenwood Evangelical Church with Rev. E.L. Fox, pastor, in charge. Burial will be made in Claridon Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Seffner Avenue address after noon Saturday.
