Jerome N. Cline, 79, Dies
Here After Illness of
Three Months.
Jerome N. Cline, 79, retired farmer, died yestserday at 6:20 p.m. at his home at 194 East Walnut street. A cerebral hemorrhage was the immediate cause of death. He had been in ill health for three months.
Surviving Mr. Cline is his wife Mrs. Clara Maxwell Cline and their children, Earl and Earnest at home, Mrs. Homer Bodley of Follansbee, W.Va., Harry A. Cline of Tacoma, Wash., Ora M. Cline of Lorain, Bert Cline of Hane avenue, Mrs. D.J. Baird and Mrs. Charles Fisher of Caledonia, Ellis Cline of Marion R.F.D. No. 1, Mrs. Roscoe Ruhlman of Forest street and Clarence R. Cline of North Greenwood street.
Sixteen grandchildren are living. A son and a daughter and four sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Cline was born Feb. 3, 1852, in Claridon township to Henry and Rachel Darst Cline, both natives of Delaware county. He was married on Aug. 10, 1879, in Marion.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2:30 p.m. at the Claridon M.E. church where Mr. Cline was a member. Rev. T.J. Maxwell pastor, will be in charge. Burial will be made in the Claridon cemetery.
