Blountville, Tennessee; June 5 - Peter Yoakley, a lawyer and prominent citizen of this county, died at his home this morning, after a somewhat lingering illness of heart disease and general prostration. His age was sixty seven years and nine months.
His second wife survives him. Dr. D. H. Yoakley, of this place, is his only living child.
Mr. Yoakley was a good citizen and will be greatly missed by the people of this county and all who knew him.
He owned good property.
There was a large attendance at the burial of Peter Yoakley. There were in attendance about 100 masons.
The burial will take place tomorrow, at the Barnes graveyard, by the masonic fraternity.
