CHANDLER, Ronald B.
age 83, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 at Kensington Place. He was born June 7, 1929 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and moved to Ohio in 1961. Ronald was employed as a trainer for United Truck Master for three years, and as a truck driver for Bob's Truck Service for 29 years. He received the Driver of the Month Award and the Award for A Million Miles Over the Road. He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Martha Frances (Orme) Chandler; and one daughter, Iva Muriel Chandler. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Julia M. Chandler; one son, Ronald David Chandler; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Chandler and Adam Chandler. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Ohio with his nephew, Keith Prather officiating. Interment will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association . Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
