Nazarene Minister Dies

James Arthur Chandler
83, of Mt.Sterling, died at Mary Chiles Hospital Sunday, June 22, after a long illness.
The late Rev. Chandler was a minister in the Nazarene Church and was a retired government employee as well as a retired employee of Enoch Manufacturing.
He was born December 25, 1902, in Bath County to the late Lucy Gilbert and David Chandler. His wife, Martha Orme Chandler, preceded him in death.
Survivors include five sons, Albert Lee Chandler, Harry Clayton Chandler, Darvin Chandler, and Clifton Cramer Chandler, all of Mt.Sterling, and Ronald Boyd Chandler of Middletown, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Craycraft, Miss Linda Sharon Chandler, and Mrs. Deloris Little, all of Mt. Sterling, and Mrs. Saundra Patterson of Salt Lick; two brothers, Shirley Bush Chandler and Hoyt Chandler, both of Mt. Sterling; and several grandchildren and great¬grandchildren.
The Rev. James R. Bentley, The Rev. Robert Cannon, and The Rev. E.G. Estes Conducted services Wednesday, June 25, at Eastin-Taul Funeral Home.
His grandsons served as bearers. Burial was in the Bailey Cemetery in Bath County.
