Buzzard Funeral to Be Held Tuesday
Harvey Buzzard, 35 years old, of Quapaw, died Saturday morning at the Veteran hospital in Sulphur, Okla.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Buzzard, Miami; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Buzzard, Quapaw; one brother, Albert Buzzard, Quapaw and three sisters, Miss Nadine LeMaster, Quapaw; Mrs. Erma Fowler, Carthage and Mrs. V. G. Webster of Brownsville, Tex.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the First Baptist church in Miami. The Rev. J. Grover Seales will preach. Burial will be in G. A. R. cemetery under direction of the Cooper Undertaking company. The American Legion will be in charge of the service at the grave.

Death of Harvey Buzzard
Harvey K. Buzzard, 35 years old, died Saturday in the government hospital in Sulphur, Okla. He was born and reared in this vicinity but his home was in Miami at the time of his death. He was the son of Mr. and mrs. D. K. Buzzard of Quapaw. He is also survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Buzzard of Miami, three sisters, Mrs. Irma Howard of Carthage, Mo., Mrs. Alta Webster of Brownsville, Tex., and Mrs. Nadine LeMasters of Quapaw and a brother, Albert Buzzard of Quapaw. He was a veteran of the World war. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Miami Tuesday afternoon.

Attend Buzzard Funeral
A number of relatives and friends form Quapaw motored to Miami Tuesday and attended the funeral services of Harvey Buzzard, a world war veteran, who died at a government hospital at Sulphur, Okla., Saturday. The services were held at the Miami Baptist church with the Rev. J. Grover Seales, officiating. The songs, “Rock of Ages,” “Jesus Savior Pilot Me,” and “Going Down the Valley” were furnished by a male quartet from Miami. The American Legion members had charge of the services at the cemetery and also acted as pallbearers. Mr. Buzzard is a former resident of Quapaw. Those attending were: Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Buzzard, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Buzzard, Mrs. Nadine Lemaster, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hansford, Rev. and Mrs. M. R. Dareing, Mesdames Clarence Martin, Ray Gibson, Ed Holden, Henry Stanley, G. Brown, J. W. Green and daughter, Wilma, Mr. and Mrs. Lew Morris, Messrs. Mack King, Jr., Bill Russell and George Townsend.
