Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Bowman, who lived near Lizton and died Tuesday night (Jan. 17, 1956) will be conducted by Rev. Forest Graves of New Ross at the Gregory Funeral Home at Pittsboro at 2 p.m. Friday, January 20. Burial will be at the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowman died at the age of 71 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Milburn Smith, near Pittsboro. A life resident of the Lizton community, Mrs. Bowman had been ill four months.
Surviving with the daughter are two sons, J. P. and Robert, who reside near Lizton; three sisters, Bessie Blacketer and Alma Dale, living near Lizton, and Gay Griffith, residing near Pittsboro, and a brother, Forrest Scott near Pittsboro. A son, Walter, and her husband, Wm. Henry, preceded her.
