Mrs. John S. Staiti and Miss Ella Lovelace were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, June 11, Rev. A. B. Haltom officiating. The bride is a charming young lady and has many friends at this place. She has been our post mistress for several years. The groom is a handsome man, as well as a successful business man. He is telegraph operator and traffic manager of the Texas Brewing Co., of Fort Worth, Tex. Dinner was served by Mrs. J. W. Imboden, at noon. The bride and groom were driven to Piedmont in the afternoon and left there during the night for their future home in Texas. Our congratulations.

The Piedmont, Mo., Banner of June 15 brings the somewhat belated announcement of the marriage at that place on the 11th ult. of Mr. J. S. Staiti and Miss Ella Lovelace. The ceremony was performed by Rev. S. B. Haltorn and the affair is thus described by the Banner:

"The groom, being a prominent Knight of Pythias, invitations were extended to some of the members of Friendship Lodge, Knights of Pythias, of this place, and Messrs. Albert Blaine, I. N. Daffron, B. A. Wilson and John Schiek went down and represented the lodge at the wedding. Mrs. Ada Schular and Miss Maud McAllister of this place also attended. An elegant dinner was served at the Imboden hotel to quite a number of invited guests. After dinner the bride and grrom drove to Piedmont and then took the midnight train for Texas. Mr. Staiti is the manager of the traffic department of the Texas Brewing company at Fort Worth. The bride has been at Leeper for some years and was the efficient and accommodating postmistress there. Their friends wish them much joy."
