Mrs. Helga S Carlson Siegel, 82, Fairview Drive, Cereal, Irwin, was dead on arrival at Monsour Hospital and Clinic Jeannette, early Sunday morning September 23, 1973. She was born October 24, 1890, in Hahntown, a daughter of the late August and Severina M Kristoffer Carlson. Surviving are her husband, William G Siegel, with whom she would have celebrated her 58th wedding anniversary in October; and these children: Norman Siegel, Manor; George Segal, Cereal; Raymond Siegel, Turnpike Drive, Mrs. Ruth Kunkle, Irwin; 12 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter also survive. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Irwin, and was a charter member and past president of Cereal Women's Club. Friends are being received at William N Snyder funeral home, 521 Main St., Irwin, 2-5 and 7-9 PM daily. Services will be held in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Irwin, Tuesday at 11 AM, in charge of her pastor, Rev. Norman Nething, and Rev. Paul B Blank. Interment will follow in Irwin union Cemetery.
