HALLS - William Hartsfield, 68, carpenter, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Lauderdale in Ripley. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Dry Hill Cemetery near Gates.
Mr. Hartsfield, the husband of Ruby Nell Hicks Hartsfield, also leaves a daughter, Joyce Stehle of Jackson; three sons, Donald Hartsfield of Bryson City, N.C., and Ronald Hartsfield and Greg Hartsfield, both of Halls; six sisters, Dorothy Miller and Leona Bonds, both of Halls, Joan Burnett, Katherine Lloyd and Phyllis Climber, all of Dyersburg, and Pearlie Schwartz of Horn Lake, Miss.; three brothers, James Hartsfield of Big Sandy, L. C. Hartsfield of Luxora, Ark., and Auguster Hartsfield of Halls, four grandchildren and a great- grandchild.
