Albert Hucks was the 2nd son of Collin P. Hucks & Emma Jenkins Hucks & he was a member of Brown Swamp UMC in Horry, SC until he married Miss Helon Rabon (who was a member of Salem Baptist Church). He was a member of Salem from then on serving as Deacon & Sunday School Teacher for many years.
Albert W. Hucks & Helon Rabon Hucks celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1937 at their home on Hucks Road, Aynor, SC. His door was always open to his neighbors.
Mr. Hucks died while visiting his daughter (Leona) in Georgetown, SC in 1951.
