Clarence H. Hake, age 54 years, a resident of the town of Radisson, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Ladysmith, WI, on Wednesday evening, April 22.

Mr. Hake was born at Litchfield, MN, on May 16, 1904, and resided there until 1920 until he came to Sawyer County. In 1944 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Soper in the town of Meadowbrook. The couple have made their home near Radisson since their marriage.

The past two years, Mr. Hake has been custodian of the Radisson Public School.

Surviving are his wife Dorothy; three children, Patricia, Sandra, and Charles who reside at home; four sisters, Mrs. Esther Scherer and Mrs. Stella Halbert, both of Minneapolis, MN, Mrs. Beatrice Jorgenson of Luck, WI, and Mrs. Lillian Bathurst of Chisago City, MN; four brothers, Lynn of Danville, IL, Herbert of Robbinsdale, MN, Paul of Chisago City, MN, and Henry of Minneapolis, MN.

The body lay in state at the Anderson Funeral Chapel until Sunday at noon when it was removed to the First Lutheran Church at Exeland, WI. Funeral services were held at 2PM with the Rev. Robert Crofton conducting the service. The interment took place in the Exeland Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Richard Kimmits, Ervin Biller, John Hajdasz, Carl Hagberg, Russell Saari and Robert Craig.
