Walter was the son of Wallace Henry (1869-1937) and Henrietta Cordelia Watkins.
"WALTER E. HAKE. Services for Walter E. Hake, 57, Mora. Minn., who died Sunday, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mora, with graveside services at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Mound Cemetery, Brooklyn Center. A former Minneapolis resident, Mr. Hake had farmed near Mora for the past seven years.
Survivors include his wife, Viola, Mora; four daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Kolstad and Mrs. Donna Herting, both of Minneapolis; Sharon and Joyce Hake, both of Mora, and a son, Roland, Minneapolis."
