COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Rozelle Kirby, 85, of Celina will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. today, Monday, Dec. 30, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kirby died on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina.
She was born on March 14, 1917, in Jackson County to the late Willie Thomas and Effie Anderson Haile.
Mrs. Kirby was a retired factory worker and was a member of Algood Church of Christ.
Her family includes a son and daughterinlaw, Kenneth and Brenda Faye Kirby of Celina; a half brother and sisterinlaw,
Omer D. and Sue Haile of Livingston; a half sister and brotherinlaw, Olene and Ernest Long of Gainesboro; and a grandson, Phillip Kirby of Celina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Preston Kirby; a half brother, Ogle Haile; and a half sister, Pearl Haile.
