Obit from Robertson Co., KY rootsweb. no newspaper given: "Adams Co.,OH-Death has again entered out community and claimed for its victim one of our most beloved and best women, Mrs. Vina Hughes, who departed this life Thursday morning, sept 27, between eleven and twelve o'clock. Mrs. Hughes was born Nov 12, 1854, the daughter of David and Martha England and was married to B. F. Hughes in 1882, he dying Feb 13, 1897, leaving her the following children who survive: Mrs. Albert Jett of Bracken Co., Miss Bertha Hughes, who lived with her mother, Mrs. W. H. Toadvine and Mr. William Hughes of this county; three brothers, J.T.and E. H. England of Bracken Co., Ky and Mr. L.C. England; one sister, Mrs. Mary Owens of this county...Mrs. Hughes as a native of Bracken Co., Ky, about 19 years ago she moved to this community...The funeral was held at Foster Chapel Saturday..after which her body was laid to rest in the cemetery of that place by the side of her husband.
