ALVEY - Mr. Thomas C. Jr. "Duck" passed away in his 54th year Tuesday, August 26, 1980 in Catlin, IL. Loving husband of Mrs. Beatrice (Reynolds) Alvey; devoted father of Thomas C. Alvey III of Danville, IL, Wallace R. Alvey of Catlin, IL, Mrs. Claudia Hanzell of Danville, IL; and Mrs. Connie Cecil of Glenview, IL. Son of Mr. Thomas Alvey Sr. of Seymour, IN; brother of Lawrence Alvey; half brother of Carl Alvey, Seymour, IN; and John S. Duncanson of Lexington, KY; 6 grandchildren. Mr. Alvey is resting at the Okolona Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 8519 Preston Hgwy. until 9:30 a.m. Saturday at which time he will be taken to St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hgwy. where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
