The family moved to Lorain County, Ohio about 1846. Laura died from dropsy and heart disease at the age of 64 years 10 months and 5 days. Alice, who was the informant on her mother's death certificate gave her grandmother as Harriet Baker. It may have been Zillpha's first or middle name.
