Mrs. Eula Hall, wife of M.D. Hall of Dallas and sister-in-law of Judge B.C. Hall of Athens, died in that city Friday afternoon at 2:30 following an illness which kept her confined to her bed for the past five months.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at New York with burial following in the cemetery there.
Deceased was born at New York, this county, and she and Mr. Hall were married there. They moved to Dallas more than twenty-five years ago where Mr. Hall became connected with the Dallas Fire Department. He is now retired with the rank of Captain.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Hall is survived by eight children: Amy, Dorothy, Tommie, Bill, Joe, Jack and Henry Clay and Ethel Mae. The latter two are twins. She is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. J.A. Harper, Brownsboro; Mrs. Jake Clark, Arizona; Mrs. T.H. Hall, Weslaco and Mrs. Nettie Friendsey of Eustace.
Mrs. Hall was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.t. Jones, early residents of this county. She was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church.
