Mrs. Emma E. Small, 80, 163 N. Second St., McSherrystown, died last night at 10:05 at Hanover General Hospital where she had been a patient for the last two weeks. Born in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Wagaman) Neiderer. She was the widow of Kieran E. Small who died January 1, 1960. She is survived by seven daughters, three sons, six sisters, three brothers, 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, McSherrystown, the National Council of Catholic Women, and the Daughters of Isabella. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, meeting at the Hicks Funeral Home, McSherrystown, at 8:30 and proceeding to Annunciation Church for a Mass of the Christian Burial at 9. Rev. Paul M. Miller will be the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening with the rosary at 8.
