Their father is Roy Fife, Born July 22, 1902 in Arkansas and died July 22, 1961 Modesto, California. I haven't been able to locate his grave and was hoping he is in the same location but not listed on Find a Grave.
Roy's mother married James H Kemp. This was her second marriage and his second or third but James had 5 children at the time they married. Roy and his sister were step children. It appears his mother died after marrying Mr. Kemp because he remarried but Roy and his sister stayed with James H Kemp. I have some old letters from the Kemp siblings inquiring from Mr. Kemp as to Roy's "where a bouts". His mother was Willie "Lewis" Fife. James H Kemp was my great grandfather.
