Fort Stockton , TX – Funeral services for ZINA ELLEN SOPHIA DITTMAN, 84, who died Thursday, March 15, 1973 in a Fort Stockton nursing home after a one-year illness, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Fort Stockton Church of Christ. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery , Fort Stockton , directed by the Fort Stockton Funeral Home. Born April 4, 1888, in Nickleville, PA, Mrs. Dittman had moved to Pecos County in 1928 from McCamey. A housewife, Mrs. Dittman was a member of the Church of Christ and the Eastern Star. Survivors include a son, Donald William Dittman of Imperial; three sisters: Vella Burkholder of Clearfield, PA; Mrs. Grace Bly, of Polk, PA and Mrs. Norma McCormick of Bartlesville, OK; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Leroy Dittman, to whom she was married on September 23, 1909; a son, Harry Leroy Dittman, who died in 1952; and a son, Charles Ross Dittman, who died in 1953.
