Hamilton W. Dirmeyer
ADA, Aug. 18 - Hamilton W. Dirmeyer, 84, Ada, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Ada nursing home of a heart attack. He had been in the home three years.
Born Nov. 22, 1863 near Dola, Mr. Dirmeyer was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, Dola, and for 50 years was a member of Washington Grange. His wife, Anna, whom he married in 1888, preceded him in death in March, 1940.
Survivors include a son, Perry, Lima; two daughters, Mrs. Iva Willeke, Dola, and Mrs. Esther Cook, Akron; two brothers, George, Lima, and Charles, Tiffin; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the St. John's Lutheran church with the Rev. Homer Knauff officiating. Burial will be made in Woodlawn cemetery. The body will remain at Lantz and Cretors funeral home, Ada, until time of services.
