Mrs. Alice Maude Trobaugh Craun, 75, wife of Claude W. Craun, of Mt. Crawford, died Monday afternoon at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Craun was taken to the hospital after being stricken at her home late Sunday night. She was a daughter of Peter S. and Kathryn H. Trobaugh and was born Aug. 24, 1892, near Mt. Crawford. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. On June 2, 1917, she married Mr. Craun who survives. Also surviving are a son, Ralph Craun of Harrisonburg, a daughter, Dr. Catherine Craun of Harrisonburg, and three grandsons. The funeral will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Church of Christ in Mt. Crawford by her pastor, the Rev. Herbert E. Myers. Burial will be in Friedens UCC Cemetery. The body is at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home. The casket will not be opened in the church. Friends may call at the funeral home but the family will receive friends at the home of Ralph Craun at 421 Neyland Drive, Harrisonburg. Relatives will meet there 3 p.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Elmer B. and Harry R. Kaylor, 0. H. Tutwiler. P. Slemp Layman Fred Will, Russell Huffman Sr., O.D. Hollen Jr., and Marvin E. Burgess.
