He was born Thursday, February 24, 1938 in McDonough Co., IL the son of the late William & Ruth James Parker. He married Betty L. Frakes on August 8, 1955 in Arkansas. She passed away October 11, 1991. He later married Carol Gibbs on December 30, 1992 in Burlington, IA.
She survives along with two sons, Robert Joe Parker and wife Julie, and Randall Ray Parker and wife Kim all of Burlington, IA; one daughter, Michelle LeKander and husband Bobby of Burlington, IA; two stepsons, Donald Bergquist and wife Kendra of Burlington, IA and Douglas Bergquist and wife Debbie of Weaver, IA; one stepdaughter, Cathy Rebman & husband Barry of Rushville, IL; two brothers, William Parker and wife Mary of Burlington, IA and Benny Parker of Macomb, IL; one sister, Sue Woodside and husband Dave of Littleton, IL; (18) grandchildren; (8) great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one) daughter, Cheryl Roxanne Steward & one stepson, Robert Bergquist.
Bob was a member of the American Motorcycle Association & the Schuyler County Coonhunters Association. He loved hunting & his Labrador retriever dogs.
Interment will be in Chockley Cemetery near Industry, IL.
