PLAINVILLE - Janet Jo Plante, 66, Plainville, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003.
Mrs. Plante was born Janet Jo Bair on July 12, 1937, at Plainville. She was an LPN at Craig Home Health Care in Plainville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Gerstner.
She is survived by her husband, Henry, of Plainville; seven sons, Leon, John and Steve, both of Plainville, Francis and Duane, both of Vandalia, GA., Allen of Russell and Joseph of Stockton; two sisters, Leona Kenney of Plainville and Rosemary Goble of WaKeeney, 23 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville. A Ladies Guild rosary will be said at 3 p.m. today at Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, 409 S. Cochran, Plainville 67663. A parish vigil will be at 7:30 tonight at the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School or AJ Couse lift Fund, in care of the chapel.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the chapel and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the church.
