Mr. Edenfield, 74, died Sunday, June 20, 2004.
Born August 25, 1929 in Winnsboro, he was a son of the late William McKinley 'Kenneth' Edenfield and Georgia Branham Edenfield.
He had retired from the Winnsboro Post Office after forty-two years with Civil Service and was a member of the First Baptist Church, where he had been a Deacon, Choir Member, President of his Sunday School Class and the Baptist Brotherhood, served on numerous boards and sang with the Winnsboro Barbershoppers and was a member of SPEBSQSA and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his widow, Christine Rollins Edenfield of the home; daughter, Crystal Edenfield Barrett and her husband, Ken, of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, James Troy Porter of Beaufort, SC, Tyler Rollins Porter of Winnsboro, Codi Erin Edenfield and Lindsey Rachel Edenfield, both of Arden, NC; brother, Lamar Edenfield and his wife, Jeanette, of West Columbia; sister, Pearl E. Enloe and her husband, Chesley, of Shelbyville, TN; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Charles Albert Edenfield.
