Born Oct. 4, 1923, in Decatur to Edward and Nellie Cain Franklin, she married Henson Dison on April 3, 1943, in Palmyra, Miss. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, William E. of Creve Coeur; one sister, Stella Faux of East Peoria; two grandchildren, Kimberly and William Dison of Creve Coeur; and several nephews and nieces.
One sister and one brother preceded her in death.
She worked at Arlan's Department Store and at Belscot Discount Store in Peoria.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
