Gedeon "John" Chartier was born to Theophil and Angelina (Bonin) Chartier on November 8, 1890 in Lake Linden, Michigan. He served in WWI and died in July 1921.

Letter from Ilean Ingvalsen mentions John was killed in WWI and his body was shipped home from overseas. She told me over the phone that John was buried at Fort Snelling, died WW I, Navy, however, Calvary Cemetery says he is buried there 23 Jul 1921.
