Albert Chartier was born on May 5, 1888 in Lake Linden, Michigan to Theophil Chartier and Angelina (Bonin) Chartier. He served in WWI as a Wagoner in the Minnesota 53rd Infantry 6th Division. He married Eunice E. Hill on 3 July 1926. They were the parents of Shiley, Elizabeth, Alberta, Iolene, and Pat. Albert died on 2 March 1949 in St. Paul.
