Born in Torrington on Oct. 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Melvin A. and Teresa (Green) Price. Phyllis was involved in the American Legion Aux., and had been an active volunteer, especially with E.P. Foster School in California.
She is survived by two sons, Gary W. Grenuck and James E. Bailey, both of Torrington; and two grandsons, Eric and Joshua Bailey. She was predeceased by a son, Peter J. Grenuck.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at Nutting-Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will follow in Bantam Cemetery, Bantam. There are no calling hours.
