J.E. Box died Sunday, July 4, 2010 at the Lake City Medical Center in Lake City, FL. He lived in Lake Butler, Union, Florida most of his life. He retired in 1986 as an office engineer with the Florida Department of Transportation. He was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Lake Butler, FL. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Daniel Box and is survived by his wife of 56 years, Emogene Stafford Box, one daughter, Debbie Box Rogers (David), and three sons; Wayne Box (Janice), Greg Box (CeeCee), and Kevin Box (Kim); Five sisters, Lovurn Rivers, Alief Bryant, Josephine Addison, Delores Brannen, and Durrelle Bailey and one brother, Alfred Christie "A.C" Box. Eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
