Lovurn Box Rivers 79, of Glen St. Mary passed away peacefully Saturday, October 4, 2014 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville with her family at her side. She was born on November 7, 1934 in Lake Butler to the late Alfred and Natalie Christie Box. She graduated from Union County High School. Ms. Rivers was a self employed Income Tax Consultant that served many within her years of working. She also enjoyed cooking, being with her family, and friends. She was a leader in 4-H and FFA. Ms. Rivers was a member of Raiford Road Church in Macclenny, where she taught the children's Sunday school class for many years and had a passion for missions in Honduras. She was preceded in death by two brothers: J.E. Box and Michael Box.

Ms. Rivers is survived by her three loving sons: D.C. Rivers, wife Carolyn of Glen St. Mary, James Rivers, wife Marion of Macclenny, and David Rivers, wife Debbie of Glen St. Mary; Brother: A.C. Box , wife Johnnie Bell of Lake Butler; Four sisters: Josephine Addison of Lake Butler, Alief Bryant, husband Randall of Glen St. Mary, Delores Brannen, husband Glenn of Lake City, Durelle Bailey, husband Emory of Lake City; One grandson: Joshua Rivers and Four Step grandchildren: Karen Barfield, Kristen Gray, Daniel and Richard Knezha.

Funeral Services for Ms. Rivers will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Raiford Road Church in Macclenny, State Road 121 with Pastor Johnny Raulerson and Pastor Eddie Griffis officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 6-8 at Raiford Road Church. Burial will be in South Prong Cemetery in Sanderson. The arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008
