Truman Earl Loyd died at age 27. Services were held in First Baptist Church of Silverton with the Rev. Larry Wilson pastor officiating. Burial was in Silverton Cemetery under direction of the Silverton Funeral Home.
Truman was found dead at 7 a.m. in his bed at his home in Silverton. An autopsy was ordered by County Judge M. G. Moreland of Silverton.
Truman, a native of Borger, had been a resident of Briscoe County since 1952. His obituary notes that Truman was employed by Grabee - Simpson Chevrolet Co. and he was a member of the First Baptist Church.
