Per the notice of death published in the St. Joseph News-Press on March 31, 1994:

Death occurred at the Chillicothe, Missouri hospital.

Born in Livingston County and returned to Blue Mound area where he was raised in 1976.

Occupation was that of a laborer to include work with the municipal sanitation department and city animal control.

He was a member of the Christian Church of Blue Mound.

Married Tabitha J. Powers at Carrollton, Missouri in 1916. She preceded him in death in 1972.

He was the father of five sons Ercil, Raymond, Ervin, Willard, and Chester and one daughter Veda; 12 grandchildren; a step grandchild; 23 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and 8 step great-great grandchildren.
