Private family services will be held for Ivie A. Campbell of McMinnville. Private interment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Silverton.

Mrs. Campbell died Jan. 15, 2001, in Oakwood Country Place, McMinnville. She was 87.

She was born June 19, 1913, in Trousdale, Kan., the daughter of James Casper and Charlotte Gertrude Bellamy Monaghan. She was educated in Belpre and Trousdale schools. She also attended Fort Hays College.

She and John Michael Jr. were married Jan. 24, 1937, in Trousdale.

She moved to a farm near Dayton in 1956. Her first husband died in 1970.

She and Leonard Campbell were married Dec. 18, 1971, in McMinnville.

Mrs. Campbell had lived in McMinnville since 1971. She belonged to the McMinnville United Methodist Church and the Aloha Club in Dayton. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Connie Ruhlman of Cody, Wyo.; three sisters, Naomi McIlvain of Tucson, Ariz., Fiona Reed of Davis, Calif., and Mae Tincknell of Parson, Kan.; a stepson, Donald Campbell of San Diego; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to hospice, in care of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, 135 N.E. Evans St., McMinnville, OR 97128.
