Fannie died before 1920, and George married Frances Thomas on April 17, 1920 in Romance, Jackson County. They had at least ten children: Frona, Devona, Arnold, Lona, Clarence, Sybil, Ethel, Adam, Edith, and Freddie. At the time of his death he was a retired farmer and a member of the Advent God Church of Romance.
