C.W. Young (Aka Caleb W Young in the pages), who states DOB as Oct 1828, has a CSA pension application on line in the GA archives virtual vault. He says he enlisted in Company H of the 63rd GA regiment, Mercer's brigade. At the battle of Kennesaw Mountain, Ga on 2 July 1864, he was wounded in the ankle making his foot useless. His pension was $25 per year.
